saxon mountain – jeep trail

In Goergetown, Colorado there is an off-road Jeep trail called Saxon Trail, you can take for a little four wheel adventure. The trail runs right next to a cliff so if you are not careful you will find yourself in the Georgetown lake below.  The trail is very rocky but a lot of fun.  I found myself in some situations where I had one front wheel and one rear wheel off the ground.  If you have a four wheel vehicle with decent ground clearance I highly recommend this off-road Jeep trail adventure at Saxon Mountain.  Georgetown is only about 35 minutes West of Evergreen on I-70.
