Evergreen is defined by three specific areas, 1. North Evergreen 2. West Evergreen and 3. South Evergreen. This is important because homes in these areas are known for their specific characteristics which may help you to better narrow down your search based on your desired lifestyle.
This area is located between Evergreen Lake, North to I-70. This area is what I call “Easy Mountain Living” and the homes can be more expensive in this area due to the level of convenience. Most of the streets are paved, county maintained bus routes, run on city water, sewage and natural gas. They have access to high speed Internet and are close to schools and shopping. They are also closer to I-70 which can be beneficial for commuting to work, the airport or for skiing.
This area is located,West of North Evergreen and North of Evergreen Lake. Homes in this area are more likely to be on larger lots, have well and septic systems, natural gas or propane. Most of the roads are paved and county maintained but there are also some private roads. Most homes will have Internet access but bandwidth speeds may vary depending on the available Internet providers. While most of Evergreen is in Jefferson County, parts of West Evergreen are located in Clear Creek County.
This area is located between Evergreen Lake, South to Highway 285. Homes in this area are characteristically more spread out, on more land. Many neighborhoods have lots that are a minimum of two acres. There are more horse properties in South Evergreen. Most of the roads are paved and county maintained but there are also some private roads. Homes in this area are more likely to be on larger lots, have well and septic systems, natural gas or propane. Most homes will have Internet access but bandwidth speeds may vary depending on the available Internet providers.
