Whether you are just visiting Evergreen to getaway from the city or seriously considering moving to Evergreen I have a list of the best places to stay. Several of these locations are very charming and located along Bear Creek right on the water and others are more economical but still great places to stay.
Comfort Suites Golden West – Evergreen, CO
Comfort Suites is located in North Evergreen up near I-70 so it is a convenient location. I have stayed here before and it is a clean and comfortable hotel. Wi-FI and breakfast is included. This is probably one of the less expensive places to stay in the area at around $130-$150/night.

Bear Creek Cabins
If you are looking for a true mountain cabin experience then I recommend the Bear Creek Cabins. They are located on Bear Creek so the creek runs right in front of your cabin and you are in close proximity to downtown Evergreen. Prices range from $249/night – $430/night. Wi-Fi is included in the price.

The Cabins at Country Road
These charming cabins are nestled in the banks of Bear Creek. Rates range from $275 – $295/night depending on the time of year. These cabins are located right next to the Country Road Cafe which is a popular restaurant for breakfast and I can say from experience that they have great food. These cabins are also near Downtown Evergreen but not within walking distance.

Highland Haven Creekside Inn
Highland Haven is a romantic and charming Inn located within walking distance to Downtown Evergreen. They have a variety of rooms ranging in price from $180/night to $575/night for the Tree House. Bear Creek runs through the front of the property and their are lounge chairs to sit and take in the beauty.

Alpen Way Chalet Mountain Lodge
Alpen Way Chalets is a charming group of cabins that are fully furnished with kitchens. Come enjoy the grazing deer and elk, the beautiful vistas, fresh Rocky Mountain air, and the soft murmur of Little Cub Creek outside your room. We’re just a 10 minute walk to downtown Evergreen or Evergreen Lake. They have some special promotions for active military, veterans and first responders. Rates start at around $140/night.
