Evergreen Primary Care & Pediatric Care
Let’s start with Evergreens primary care resources. This is not an exhaustive list but it will give you a general idea of what options exist.
St. Anthony Health Center Evergreen
St. Anthony’s is, in my opinion the most comprehensive primary medical care center in the Evergreen Area. I personally use them for both myself and my children and have had a great experience with them. I have received a level of care and support from the staff at St. Anthony’s that I would have never have received living in the city. Note, they do not offer Emergency care. If you are an existing patient then you may be able to be admitted for a minor emergency but otherwise the closest emergency care facility is in Golden CO.

According to US News Rankings, Colorado is the best state for aging. The criteria for determining this is based on available healthcare, local economic health, tax breaks, and local community involvement. Colorado has made it a priority to support its older residents especially when the nation as a whole is aging rapidly which presents challenges to take care of the 65 and older population.
Colorado has one of the healthiest populations of residents,
65 and older than any other state.
According to statistics, Colorado has some of the best Medicare and nursing home quality in the nation. Colorado’s older population is growing at a faster rate than many other states. According to the US Census Bureau, Colorado had a population of 10.9 percent. In 2016 the percentage of residents 65 and older increased to 13.4, which is still lower than the national average of 15.2. It is estimated that by 2030, the 65 and older population will increase to 1.27 million, a 77 percent increase from 2015. This growth is most likely attributed to the high quality Colorado offers and as a result more residents are staying rather than migrating to other states as they age.
